Last week the x-plane.org Forum got a big update. There were a reorganisation of the download urls. Because of that some of the links were broken.
At the moment I am checking all the x-plane.org links. Broken links will be removed from the apxp site. I am also working on it to add all the links of the x-plane.org forum with the new links. If some links are still missing, please get in contact to me.
X-Plane gateway support added
Sep 30th 2014, 10:54
Just updated the airports with information about the x-plane gateway. I was not sure how to integrate the sceneries provided by the gateway. The target of those sceneries is to become a default ariport and always the best airport will be recommended and part of the default airports. So I didn't added the gateway sceneries like other scenery links.
Every airport, which has a scenery inside the gateway has now a link to the gateway, where all availiable sceneries to that airport are listed.
Inside the country views there is also a option (filter) availiable, where you can list all airports with gateway sceneries.
I hope you like the new feature.
Default airports updated

With the new X-Plane 10.30 Beta 6 release, more default airports have been added. Just updated the apxp database with the new default airport list. So if you are interested you can filter for the default airports.
Another way to find the default airports of a country is the map view. All airports with a dot inside are now part of x-plane. A lot of new stuff has been added in Germany so take a look at the map view of Germany.
At all there are now 746 default airports.
Map view added
May 3rd 2014, 20:08
I was not a big friend of the map view, but when I was working on it I was surprised how nice this can be. So now there is also a map view for every country. The markers indicating if there are sceneries availiable or if that airport is a default airport. Default airports have a dot inside the marke and airports with sceneries are in green color. You can access the map view at the additional options.
That view shows that there is a lot of work for the scenery designers, because a lot of small airfields are still missing.
Maps added to the airport detail page
Apr 30th 2014, 20:45
Just added a map to the detail page of each airport. All the runways are marked inside that view. If the line is not correct, there is a mistake in the global x-plane airport definition. If you click on the label of each runway you will get the runway name and the length.
For example you can look at Amsterdam Shipol
I hope that this will get you a better feeling for each airport. Specially when you fly there the first time.
