Maps added to the airport detail page

Apr 30th 2014, 20:45

Just added a map to the detail page of each airport. All the runways are marked inside that view. If the line is not correct, there is a mistake in the global x-plane airport definition. If you click on the label of each runway you will get the runway name and the length. For example you can look at Amsterdam Shipol

I hope that this will get you a better feeling for each airport. Specially when you fly there the first time. Greetings Andreas

Runway tables added

Apr 29th 2014, 14:05

Just added some tables to browse the runways of a country. There is also a filter option where you can choose minimal or maximal runway length. This is very useful if you are searching a place where you can land or take-off with bigger planes. Here you can find for example a list with minimal runway length 3.000m in Germany. You can access that tables over the homepage or the country overview.

Apr 6th 2014, 12:07

Just added the countries:

  • Croatia
  • Mexico
  • Morocco
  • Solomon Islands

Because there are now 5 or more sceneries availiable for each of that countries. Please contact me, if you think another country is missing.

No updates the next weeks

Mar 21st 2014, 12:26

No time no news. At the moment I am working on another tool for an easy an automatic sort of the custom sceneries. Everything is in beta, but it will be useable soon. At the moment no gui, but it sorts everything pretty good. Everybody who is interested can visit the project site at github: xpstart project.

Another thing is that I am at holidays so there are no scenery updates the next two weeks. But end of March all missing sceneries will be added. There will be also a small internal update of the airport database. So that all x-plane airports will be supported.
