Runway tables added

Apr 29th 2014, 14:05

Just added some tables to browse the runways of a country. There is also a filter option where you can choose minimal or maximal runway length. This is very useful if you are searching a place where you can land or take-off with bigger planes. Here you can find for example a list with minimal runway length 3.000m in Germany. You can access that tables over the homepage or the country overview.

No updates the next weeks

Mar 21st 2014, 12:26

No time no news. At the moment I am working on another tool for an easy an automatic sort of the custom sceneries. Everything is in beta, but it will be useable soon. At the moment no gui, but it sorts everything pretty good. Everybody who is interested can visit the project site at github: xpstart project.

Another thing is that I am at holidays so there are no scenery updates the next two weeks. But end of March all missing sceneries will be added. There will be also a small internal update of the airport database. So that all x-plane airports will be supported.

How to stay up to date or rew changelog filter

Dec 18th 2013, 11:55

I just updated the changelog functions. Now it is possible to filter the changes over a country. That small function allows you to keep up to date over scenery actions in that part of the world, where you fly.

When you go to the changelog you will find a country selection on top of the page. After choosing a country you are redirected to the site with the active filter. If you are just flying in the USA and Australia you should filter the changelog to that countries. You can bookmark those URLs for this example it would be:

When you watch the changelog there are two possible actions:

  • Update: When a scenery is updated the date in the name of the link is been changed. The shown date is always the last update field of the scenery. To see what happend you should check the link. At the x-plane.org page the changes can be found inside the descriptions or maybe also will recognice what changed with the availiable screenshots there.
  • Added: When a new scenery is added.

On that way you can be up to date what is happening in your favorite country.
